I have absolutely no business writing tips for organizing one’s life. Most days, I flitter from task to task in chaos. I’m only able to get things done because of my really good memory and reminder alerts on my phone. A constant struggle for me is figuring out the best way to organize my life with so many options, digital or paper? Google Calendar or a planner? I have some of my life in one area and another part of my life in another. I’ve tried Asana but using the software is too time-consuming as a mom who is constantly in motion from work, doing laundry, parent events for school, and extracurriculars of which there are many. There are doctor appointments and work deadlines and grocery shopping and honestly how the fuck does anyone stay on top of it? What are all of you using to manage it all?
I don’t know if it’s ADHD or if it’s just mom-brain, anxiety, trauma, all of it combined, or that I’m just so damn busy, or a combination of all of the things, but I have a really hard time staying on top of my larger goals, too. I’ll forget why I’m saving money. I space off the reason I need to do daily social posts (to meet fun book friends and also get the word out about my own books one day…when I finish them) in fact, I literally just paused writing this to post to my bookstagram account because I forgot to do it this morning. And I need to do it if I want my next book to, ya know, sell.
After spending a lot of money and time trying different ways to organize my life, I finally just got sick of it one night when I couldn’t sleep and designed a whole godsdamn planner that is a goal tracker and constant reminder of what matters.

It has large goals, financial goals, trip goals, and even book goals. The planner is large and in charge in the best way because I hate trying to write in tiny all the time. It has a monthly, weekly, and daily section with priorities and goals for each section.



Honestly, it’s everything I’ve ever wanted in one place and it’s cute af, too. I originally made it for me but then my friends all wanted one so I decided to post it on Amazon for fun.
