If you’re at all familiar with my travel blog, Surviving in Italy, you might be familiar with the work of my wedding photographer, Alix. She has a very natural, journalistic style and so when it came time to do maternity pics I knew that she was the best fit for us because I’m not great at posing for portrait-style pics because I move around too much and drive everyone crazy. I also wanted pictures that looked more authentically me which meant the Virgin in a Field pics were out and the grungy, “I can’t be bothered to wash my hair every day,” pics were in.

I seriously cannot be more happy with how the photos turned out. She did an amazing job and managed to capture some really great moments with me, my husband, and our demon poodle, Oliver. Enjoy!
